NESLL Boys Summer Tryouts

(Non-NESLL players only)

Sunday, May 20th @ Harvard University from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location – New Turf Field (New Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium)

Tryout Fee - $25.00

NESLL is known for being one of the premier Club lacrosse programs in New England. Once again we have a great talent pool to select from and we look forward to another strong and successful Summer Season. We look forward to the tryout for non-NESLL to bring in some new talent to our program.

Teams will be formed based on "year of graduation" and level of "talent". It is our goal, as always, to put together the top teams in New England at each level.

The NESLL Black teams will be very selective as they will represent the strength our program.

ALL of the Summer teams will have TWO qualified coaches.

We will also use current collegiate players as assistant coaches.

All of the Summer teams will have fixed rosters.

The Summer rosters will be formed and the players will stay together for the Summer season as much as possible. We will make some slight adjustments based on some players missing particular tournaments. We have found that for the players and families to fully enjoy the Summer experience this is important!

We will use both "Regional" and "Team" practices for the Summer to minimize travel to practice but yet create and maintain the team cohesiveness.

Highlights of the NESLL Summer Tournament Program

o Includes 12-14 Practice/Clinic Sessions beginning early June

o Pre-Season Mini-Camps

o Four Quality Tournaments

 Bulldog Classic, Bryant University – June 22-24

 NE Lacrosse All-Star Tournament, UMass Amherst – July 7-8

 Crimson Youth Classic, Harvard University – July 14-15

 Stowe Tournament, Stowe, VT – July 21-22

o Top Level Coaches

 Non-parent Head Coaches that have demonstrated the ability to coach our top level youth players.

 Assistant coaches will be current college or former college athletes that have accomplished lacrosse backgrounds and have demonstrated the ability to coach at this level.

o Uniform and NESLL Apparel

Lacrosse fans,

It is a pleasure to bring back for its 6th season of the Sean Morris Lacrosse Academy for boys and girls of all ages. The addition of MLL and NLL All-Pro Brett Queener has brought a whole new dynamic as to how goalies can elevate their game. Registrations are closing in on 50% occupancy and the last three years the camp has sold out. Please get your registrations in!

Sean Morris Lacrosse Academy Philosophy

The South Shore now has a Premier Camp of their Own. Sean Morris has come back to the area and put together an amazing staff of current MLL players, collegiate All-Americans, outstanding college and high School coaches as well as the area's top high school prospects to teach the skills and knowledge that has enabled these men and women to get to the highest level of lacrosse. This is the first camp of its kind ever come to the area and that is why Sean Morris feels the time is now. Sean Morris Lacrosse Academy will take place at the tremendous facilities of Thayer Academy and Hingham High School.

The Sean Morris Lacrosse Academy commitment pledge is a guarantee that each camper will have a positive learning experience. We give them the necessary skills to excel as a lacrosse player and at the same time prepare them their next level of play. We help young players progress toward becoming a more skilled, confident, and knowledgeable lacrosse player. I also guarantee that each camper will improve his skills and better understand the game by the end of the camp week.

The Brett Queener Jedi school will be going into its 2nd summer. Queener has become the lead goalie instructor at Syracuse University for both the men's and women's teams. Through his successes on the field as an All Pro and now as a successful college coach, there is no better instructor. Not only is Brett's knowledge of the game outstanding, but his personality is second to none! Brett was the 2009 Inside Lacrosse Personality of the Year.

When we discuss our staff at Sean Morris Lacrosse Academy, it is with great pride. We choose our staff based on their ability to teach and relate to the campers of all ages. Their expertise and experience mean that campers learn and practice up-to-date techniques in a competitive but supportive environment. Our goal is to provide an exciting and fun learning environment for these young players. We believe that the lacrosse camp is only as good as its staff. Our coaches are experts in the sport of Lacrosse and our coach to player ratio is one of the best in Eastern Mass. (7:1).
